Seabrook Village
Seabrook Village is a luxury retirement community in Tinton Falls, NJ. At full build-out it will have 1,650 apartments in 3 neighborhoods, with a community building in each neighborhood. All buildings in the complex are connected by enclosed, air conditioned links, allowing residents to visit friends in any building without going outside during harsh weather. Seabrook offers a wide variety of features and services on site, including a pool, fitness center, bank, medical center, movie theatre, salon, barber shop, convenience store, pharmacy, library, and computer center, in addition to 2 dining venues in each neighborhood. This is truly a 21st century facility, with internet access available in all apartments, along with its own cable TV studio and channel. There is also a 352 unit on-site assisted living/skilled nursing facility. Seabrook was designed as an upscale, luxurious facility, reminiscent of the grand hotels of the Jersey Shore, to attract residents from surrounding shore communities.
These features resulted in Seabrook winning a 1999 NJ Golden Trowel Award in the Best of Housing/Residential category. It was also given an award by the Monmouth County Planning Board as a unique housing alternative for seniors.
The drawings shown here are for the community building for the second of the three neighborhoods. It features a large buffet dining room, a TV studio, a hall for catered events, a 500 seat auditorium, indoor shuffleboard, a gift shop, game rooms, classrooms, and offices for home health care, pastoral services, and campus administration. *
